You really can’t underestimate the value of relationships in your life. People are meant to be with other people and there is
something so rewarding when you have good, solid relationships in your life.
It’s been said that if you can count the number of your true friends on one hand, you’re lucky. True friends will pick you up when you are down, love you when you’re not lovable and tell you what you need to know about yourself, even if you don’t want to hear it.
Relationships that may be more challenging are still a gift because they provide you ample opportunity to grow and learn more about how you react and respond to the people around us. Although they may not always be welcome, try to appreciate the gift of challenging relationships.
You need both the “good” and the “bad” ones to become the best and fullest expression of yourself.
If you’re very wise, you will take some time to evaluate and understand what lessons you need to learn in all of your relationships. When you understand the deeper reasons why you do what you do, you’ll find that your relationships start to get better and better.

People often ask me how they can love themselves as though it’s a strange thing or difficult to do. It’s really not difficult at all,
and there are several ways you can be good to you.
One of the easiest ways is to take time to get to know yourself. What do you like? What’s really important to you? If you had an entire day free from any responsibilities, what would you most like to do?
Spend some time making a list. Maybe you would really like to read a good book or spend time with friends. Would you want to be indoors or outdoors? Taking a nap or going for a hike?
It can often be surprising to discover that what you thought you needed, isn’t really what you needed at all.
When you become in tune with the core of who you are, it’s easier to come from a place of love, which means it will be easier to love other people. And when you love people easily, it’s easier to be loved in return.
It’s a cycle of love! So appreciate and love yourself and watch what happens.

Money, money, money. Why all the fuss about money?
Money is just energy. When you understand that, it will be easier for you to understand why it shows up (or doesn’t show up) the way it does.
Imagine yourself holding a dollar bill. It’s really just a piece of paper but what feelings come up for you as you imagine that dollar in your hand? What specific words were you thinking? Security, power, fun, good, bad?
What you think and believe about money is the energy you are transmitting to the Universe about money and specifically about yours.
The Law of Attraction tells us that the vibrational frequency you send out is what you will get back. If you have a scarcity mindset, the Universe will be in alignment with your beliefs and money will be hard to come by.
On the other hand, if you believe that there is an abundance of money and have faith that the Universe will provide what you need, you’ll start to see money showing up quickly, often in the most random ways!
Your experience about money is a direct result of what you believe about it. Change your beliefs and you’ll change your money situation.

Did I get your attention? This is really important!
One of the biggest ways you can steal from yourself is by not taking time out for self-care. Ignoring what your mind, body and spirit need, you can rob yourself of everything from essential nutrients to quiet time, and just like anything else that needs maintenance in life to perform, you are no different.
It’s easy in your busy world and especially in your desire or dedication to do what you feel you must, that you forget that you must be dedicated to taking care of you.
I have to tell you, I’ve been guilty of this myself, pushing myself to get done everything I want to get done. That’s when my body revolts by giving me indicators that I’ve gone too far.
Each part of you, the physical, mental and emotional, needs to recharge frequently and consistently in order to keep going.
Take some time today to listen to what you need. It may be exercise or a massage for your body. Maybe you need to read a good book or watch a thought provoking documentary. Perhaps meditation or social time with friends should be on the agenda.
Whatever it is, don’t push yourself too hard and think that at some point, your Highest You won’t push back. Spend some time on you today.

We often hear about the power of nature when images of strong winds tossing cars through the air show up on TV or a bad winter storm knocks out power lines. It reminds us that Nature will do its own thing and is a mighty force.
There’s another way to look at the “power” of nature, however, and that is its ability to help us connect with Source and our heart space, which is the center of our power.
Have you ever experienced feeling slightly down or sometimes, even just “off” a little and then you go outside and stand in the sun for a few minutes and suddenly, all is right with the world again? Or how about deciding to play in the rain or sitting quietly in the woods with nothing to hear but the sounds of a gentle breeze ruffling the leaves and birds calling to each other?
There is a power in nature that is healing and if you let it, can provide a positive shift in your energy. You have to take the time to be in the moment with nature, however. Why not try a little of that this week?

Whenever you feel you may be running out of faith that you can create the life you want to live, just remember the Law of Attraction.
Simply put, The LOA says that whatever you put out into the universe will be returned to you, and that the universe is simply
responding to your vibrational level.
When you choose to believe in your dreams and have faith that certain things will happen for you, you set that intention in motion and the universe has to respond.
Have you ever noticed that certain people seem to be able to make things happen the way they want them to? They want to get a certain kind of job or live in a certain kind of house and then suddenly…they do!
Conversely, if you’re constantly talking about how things never go your way, they probably won’t.
The LOA says that like attracts like, and you’re simply getting what you’re sending in terms of positivity or negativity.
Don’t ever lose faith in yourself or in your ability to manifest your dreams. Set your intention, believe it will happen, make a decision to not waiver and watch what happens!

A woman once found herself watching a butterfly struggling to emerge from its cocoon. After several moments of silent observation, she felt sorry for the butterfly and decided to help it along. After she had gently pulled apart the cocoon, she sat back to watch the emergence of the beautiful creature.

You can imagine her dismay when the butterfly continued to struggle for several more minutes and then seemingly gave up. She waited and waited and finally, the butterfly emerged…with crippled legs and shriveled wings. In her kindness to help the butterfly with its struggle, she had denied it of its muscle-building power.
To have the strength and power needed to live its life, the butterfly also needed the struggle of the emerging process. Struggle was what made its wings and legs strong and without it, the butterfly wasn’t as strong as it could have been.
Are you tired of your struggle and the discomfort of your ‘growth opportunities’? Just remember the butterfly. Your struggle builds your muscles, and makes you strong. The struggle builds your inner fiber, and helps empower you.

Got relationships? Most of us are surrounded by people every day but do you have at least a couple of people with whom you have a relationship?

It’s been a well-known fact that people who have a healthy support system of relationships with other people are happier, less stressed and are better able to handle the challenges of life.
Why is that? As humans, we are designed to be in relationship: it’s just the way we were created. It is a fact that relationships are also found consistently throughout the animal kingdom. Living creatures need each other for support and survival.
In our modern day society, one of the greatest impediments to maintaining healthy relationships is the lack of time, or more accurately, not making the time to create, nurture and grow them.
Don’t get so busy that you forget to take time for your relationships. As the old adage goes, no one on their death bed has ever wished they’d spent more time working!

Stress is a normal part of life and “good stress” can be a motivator. However, you never want to have stress take over your life so much that it starts to cause health problems.

Studies have shown that stress has terrible effects on your physical health so make sure to take time to engage in activities that will bring your stress level down.
It doesn’t have to be anything complicated or even take a significant amount of time to do. Doing simple things such as sitting quietly and just being aware of your heartbeat and breath for as little as ten minutes will have a calming effect.
Feeling too “punchy” to be calm? Try doing some kind of physical activity you find fun. Dance, play a sport, go for a run or walk. Physical play is a great way to combat stress.
Whether you feel the need to get calm or burn off some steam, the important thing is to just do it. Often when we’re feeling stressed, the last thing we want to do is engage in some of these activities. Try to do it anyway. You’ll feel much better afterwards and your future health depends on it!

Getting still may be one of the busiest activities you ever do. I know that sounds confusing, yet, although it appears counterintuitive, quieting your mind is a powerful way to discover what is inside. That way you can assess what’s working and what you would like to change.
Life can be hectic and stressful, when you’re doing everything that needs to be done.

Yet, so often, that very busyness can keep you from periodically checking in with yourself to make sure that the direction you are heading in continues to be where you want to go.
I’ve been surprised on many occasions when I gave myself the luxury of some still time, to realize that I had been barreling headlong down a road that really didn’t feel right, or that my desired destination had changed.
During my still and quiet time, answers were very forthcoming as I tuned in to my Inner Guidance. I was being still but busy!
It became very clear as to what I should continue to do and where I might want to course correct. If you want your “doing” to be aligned with your “being”, getting still is the answer!
